Peet Limited is one of Australia's leading residential developers, creating masterplanned communities for more than 130 years. Their philosophy is simple: great communities begin with understanding how people really live.
So that's exactly where we started.
Rather than selling blocks of land, we immersed ourselves in the lives of the people most likely to call this community home. We discovered our audience were predominantly locals already living in Adelaide's southern suburbs - people with an unmistakable pride in living "down south". They weren't aspiring to move closer to the city; they already believed they lived in the best part of South Australia.
That insight became our strategy.
Inspired by the authenticity, familiarity and character of the region, we named the community ‘South’ - a name that feels inherently local and instantly evokes belonging.
From there came the campaign platform “Home is calling." A simple yet deeply emotive invitation that speaks to more than a place to live. It captures the pull of family, community and a lifestyle that already feels like yours.
Our creative deliberately shifted the conversation away from house-and-land packages and towards the moments that define life in the south: children running through sprinklers on a summer afternoon, catching up with friends, and spending time together along the coastline. In doing so, we transformed a new development into somewhere people already felt connected to before a single home was even built.
Inspired by the precinct's breathtaking sunsets, the brandmark distilled a defining local moment into a minimalist icon that became synonymous with the development.
Using authentic photography captured in real locations, we brought the brand to life through an integrated launch campaign spanning television, billboards, brochures, and radio - ensuring every touchpoint felt genuine, aspirational and unmistakably local.
